Adventure Abroad,  Travel

Let’s get started

I am sitting here glowing behind my computer screen smiling from ear to ear. This is the most exciting thing I can imagine. The most exciting thing that has happened in my life so far. I can’t stop thinking about how lucky I am and how thankful I am to have the courage and the power to take this journey. You have seen it the title of this category which just popped in my head when I started writing but yes, you read it right.

I AM GOING ABROAD

From the beginning of the year I am busy with it. Planning, sending emails and planning some more. This is something I have wanted for basically years and this was my chance. I knew I needed to take it. So I did. I am studying to become a teacher’s assistant so I needed to find a school where I could be an intern at…

But first a country. I knew I wanted a English speaking country so I choose England, it’s pretty close and my family could easily visit. I mean mum didn’t think it was a good idea to go to the united states or Australia.

I choose a school after that because with an internship (and this is a pretty big one it’s five days a week for three months) it’s important to love the school. I choose a school that I liked right from the start, That I felt a feeling with. I do this with all my internships. It has never let me down. So I wrote them an email and got accepted. This also meant that I was going to a city I have never been to because I liked this school most.

The school helped me find a place to stay which means I will live with a host family. They seem like very nice people and I am very excited to this journey. So last but not least. I knew what city I was going to. I am going to NEW CASTLE. It’s very exciting because this is a city I have never been to and I have been to a lot of places in the United Kingdom. I looked a lot of things up and I fell in love, it looks so lovely.  So after the summer in September I will live in New Castle and I will tell you all about my journey. I hope you like it!
Have you ever been to New Castle and did you like it?

Lots of love,
Melissa

(Due to privacy and safety of me and others I can’t tell where I am staying exactly or which school I am going to be an intern at. However, I can tell you all about my adventures)
