Childhood songs

I am a 90’s baby, being born in ’97 in the late ‘90 however my parents (especially my dad) have a big love for songs from the ’80s. When we went we used to go on holiday my dad would put these songs on blast in the car. My dad has list after list of songs he loves. When I was scrolling through Spotify, I stumbled across the ‘all out 80s’ playlist. It was late and I was blogging and doing some social media scrolling when I found it. I put my earphones in and pressed play. It threw me back to my childhood. If I close my eyes I swear I can almost smell the French air around me. I can almost feel the warm sun on my face through the window. I can almost taste the summer. When I opened my eyes again I was kind of disappointed that I wasn’t ten years old again.

A quick side note is that when I was a little girl, I didn’t speak English. So there are songs that I love just by the sounds and not by the lyrics. So here are a few songs I jam to when it’s cold and late at night. Longing for summer. In no particular order, I give you eight songs from the 80s that I like:

Africa –TOTO

What songs reminded you of your childhood?
