Essence Correct and Conceal in Tan

Sometimes sleeping more, or drinking lots of water (a few of the ‘tips’ I have gotten at beauty counters) is not what will do the trick as it’s genetics that cause the ‘issue’

My under eyes are quite pigmented. This is a genetic thing, but it does have effects on how good concealer looks. If I don’t use concealer I look far more tired than I feel. Usually people then ask if I am tired. Telling people you are not, makes you tired. Having said all that, I decided to try this colour correcting product when I saw it in the shops as I thought it might help and reduce the amount of concealer I need.

Swatch

My Thoughts
In the shops that I visited I only ever saw three colours, this one, a green and a very light colour. When I was in the shops, I saw this one, the green one and the very light one. Apprantly thye have more colours but as I said I never seen the other ones.

The colour-correcting concealer comes in five colours
10 Light (under eye brightening)
100 Universal (Anti-Redness)
20 Medium (under eye brightening)
30 Tan (under eye brightening)
40 Deep (under eye brightening)

Now onto the product, as you can see in the swatch it is very pigmented and very orange. I learned online that this colour can help with correcting dark under eyes. The product is very pigmented and when I pair it with the wrong concealer it can look very very orange. I do think I need a high-coverage concealer. A plus is that I don’t need a lot.

It has a learning curve for sure but it’s really nice. if it’s paired correctly and little is used it does help my under eyes. If you are very fair though this really isn’t for you as it is exactly the colour of the tube so do keep this in mind. I think if you have a deeper skin tone this can be such a great product to use. I can use it and need very very little but as I said it’s not necessarily something I could use in the winter.

The product retails for 3,95 for 3,5ml.
