Primark Makeup Brushes

The times of choosing between brush sets that costs a ton of money or those sponges are well and truly behind us.

Brushes for make-up are so much easier to buy than it was back in the day. Back then you had to order it from some place and hope that it was worth the price and that you didn’t get scammed. I have used Zoeva brushes for years, and written about them. I have also used real technique brushes and have not found the need to buy new brushes in ages.

When I was in Primark a while ago I stumbled upon these brushes and decided to give them a try to test them out. The brushes are a lovely pink colour and I must say that this drew me in first. It was how they looked but I also wanted to try the foundation brush it looks incredibly interesting and I thought I would enjoy it as it is a bigger version of one of the real technique brushes I enjoy.

The foundation brush, as I said this was the brush that drew me in. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The brush is very soft and due to the rounding on the top it blends my foundation easily. While giving me enough control over the product. I do admit that after a while, it got loose while I was washing it. It was nothing a bit of superglue could not fix, but it was something to keep in mind.

I use this brush for foundation, and I sometimes also use it to blend out my contour or blush a bit better. I have also used it to blend my concealer. It’s a very versatile brush that I enjoy.

The second brush I got is the cream blush brush. As it says it can be used for cream blush, the exact thing I don’t use it for. I have a real technique blush brush that I love to the ends of the world and I nothing can compare. That was however not why I bought it. I had some trouble with blending my bronzer, also a cream product and picked this one up because of it.

It’s small enough so that I can use it easily for contouring. It’s small and short which gives me a lot of control while blending. Which I really like. I love the foundation brush more but this is a very versatile and good brush.
