Catrice Glam & Doll Volume Brown Mascara

Brown mascara is the best mascara. There is no if or buts about it. When I was in the shop, I saw this mascara, I did not know Catrice had some out with a brown mascara. I had to try it out.

What Catrice says
Catrice has different mascaras with the same name, this is a waterproof brown mascara. It has a medium light brown shade. They say it’s lightweight, giving the lashes volume without clumping. Read more here.

Ingredients
Isododecane, Cera microcristallina (microcrystalline wax), Aqua (water), Vp/eicosene copolymer, Euphorbia cerifera cera (euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax), Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Talc, Copernicia cerifera cera (copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax), Disteardimonium hectorite, Propylene glycol, Sorbitan isostearate, Silica, Panthenol, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, Tocopherol, Propylene carbonate, Trimethyl pentanyl diisobutyrate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium sorbate, Ci 77491 (iron oxides), Ci 77492 (iron oxides), Ci 77499 (iron oxides).

My Thoughts
I really love a spoolie like this, it’s very nice as it separates the lashes well. I like separate lashes that look natural. This one is right up my alley. I am never really keen on waterproof mascara as I feel it takes too long to take off. I also always feel they are a bit more flaky than non-waterproof mascara’s if that makes sense? For someone with sensitive eyes, this is not the best that I have found. I would prefer if it was not waterproof but we cannot have everything.

The mascara smells quite chemical, but I don’t hate the smell. I feel you get a lot of product, and the colour is very nice.

The spoolie is a bit firm, making it not very easy to comfortably use in the inner corner. Other than that, it is a fine mascara. I think if you really love waterproof mascara, this might be just the mascara for you.
