Spring Shelf Refresh
Spring has sprung, and so has the TBR. As I have quite a large TBR, I decided it was somewhat fun to pick a selection of books from them for the season and share this with you.
Today in the reading garden, I want to take you with me while I talk about the books I want to read this spring. Of course, this does not mean I will be reading all these books, but this is a small stack of books (in this case, two) that I am keen on reading. I have my books on Audible also, and there are some books I am still in the middle of. With time, I shall tell you what I thought about these books.

If you are interested in my current reading progress, you can view my stories on my personal Instagram OR visit my bookstagram account.

The first book is If We Were Villains. I have already started this one, and I must say I find it fascinating. It does not have chapters, really. It makes sense for the book, but it makes it a bit harder for me to find a good stopping point, as the acts blend together very well, but also end in the middle of a page. It is such an arbitrary thing, but it does irk me a bit. It’s not too bad, though.

When I got The Hating Game, I was so excited to read it, but I haven’t got around to it. I think it might be very cheesy? But then I don’t mind that at all. I saw an excerpt of the movie on TikTok and thought, “I have that book”. The film did not look like I would enjoy it, but then again, I might give it a go after reading the book.
So these two books will keep me busy for the remainder of spring, because before we know it, it’s summer, and by that time, I shall be back with even more books. That is not to say I shall finish them or, in the case of the second, will start, but it’s a bit less daunting than the hundred others waiting for me to read them.
