La Dolce Villa
When I was in the mood for a fun romantic film, I came across this one and decided to give it a go.
The film in short
A successful businessman travels to Italy to stop his daughter from spending all her money to restore an old villa, but Italy has other romantic plans. I got this information here.

My Thoughts
I thought it was fun, and I really enjoyed how much Eric (the father) wanted to support Olivia. Even though her plan wasn’t well thought out at all. I was glad she discovered a path she liked for herself at the end of the film.
I liked the relationship between Eric and the mayor. I thought it was very cute, and I enjoyed how the community helped Eric rediscover himself and his passions. I also thought it was good that there were some struggles with the house as well as the rules and such surrounding it, as that is usually glossed over in films, but is very prevalent in real life.
There was not too much to the movie, I must say, but it was sweet. Sometimes you want to watch a film that evokes all the good vibes without requiring too much thought about the story. This is one of those films, and I am glad I gave it a go.
