Essence Drop of Sunshine

Sunshine in a bottle, for a glowy, happy skin, all while never having seen the sun yet. I just thought, sign me up. I have seen a lot of sunshine drops but this one wasn’t too big which I thought was good in case it wasn’t for me.

What Essence says
Essence says that the drop of Sunshine bronzing drops gives the skin a sun-kissed, healthy look. It would get hydration due to the glycerin, and the nice smell would be due to the coconut. Read more here.

My Thoughts
Honestly, I was not very sure when I used this for the first time. I feel it’s a bit dry, making it a bit harder to blend out. It’s not too bad, but it is something to keep in mind. I don’t use it with my skincare as my face cream is already tinted due to the SPF in it. So I use it later on, when that’s all dry. Once the drops are on, I think it’s very nice, it gives a tiny bit of colour and a lot of glow, pairing it with the Catrice Soft Glam Filter Fluid works wonderfully for me, you can read the review for that product here.

The drops are not too dark for me, and they smell great. It stays on well. I think this is a product I will be reaching for a lot this summer, as it gives the glowy vibe I love when the sun is out. I do think it would be a bit too dark in the winter; thus, if you have very pale skin, this might not work as well, or you might need a tiny bit. I don’t feel I need a ton of product to get the look I want. Overall, I am very pleased with the product. The drops come in one colour, they also have highlighting drops.
