5 films you should watch this season
The weather is turning, and Autumn has arrived. Autumn marks the time for candles, pumpkin spice and endless hours to watch films. Today I want to share with you some films and a series you (and I) should watch this season.
Death Poet Society
This film is just really good; it’s not overly long and hits you right in all the autumn feels. It’s a bit of an older film, but it’s really worth watching. The book has been on my list for ages, but I’ve heard the adaptation is pretty good.
Bridget Jones
I do mean the original film. I haven’t seen the newest one, and as I read the book, I feel no need to watch it. But the first film is really good, it’s very enjoyable, and I must say I prefer it over the book (more on that early next year). The second film is also a classic, the third film wasn’t my favourite, hence my forgoing the fourth.
Downton Abbey
The series itself is great, and the new movie is coming out later this week. I have reviewed the series and the 2019 film, as well as the 2022 film. I think it’s good that the series is coming to an end, but it’s also bittersweet. There is a ton to watch so if it’s a episode a week or a straight up binge watch it will take a while to finish.
Sherlock
For some reason, I was convinced I had reviewed this series before, apparently not. It will be coming though, I loved it and thought it was really fun. I watched it twice, it’s really well done and for me a must-watch. And it’s the season, so we might as well.
Little Women
I haven’t seen this one yet, but it feels like the right time to watch it this autumn.
