The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
When someone asked me why I am able to read so many books throughout the year, I always tell them, I don’t really watch tv. because that’s the thing, quite a lot of the popular (everyone has seen them) type of films… I haven’t got a clue. Now during the winter, I read less and watch things more. (It’s a rhythm that feels natural, but I have only seen this since I started tracking). Anyhow, I had never watched The Silence of the Lambs, and I thought it was time I did.
The film in short
A young F.B.I. cadet must receive the help of an incarcerated and manipulative cannibal killer to help catch another serial killer, a madman who skins his victims.

My Thoughts
I thought it was a very interesting film. I did enjoy watching it, although I do think there is more to Hannibal as a person, and I was surprised when I found out it was based on a book. But I am not going to read it as it contains canabalism and that is simply on the no list for me.
I can see how this film has influenced a lot of other films and shows, as I did see things I’ve seen in other places that came after this film.
I thought it was interesting and scary in places. I do think this is one of those films that might possibly get better if you watch it more often, as I think some bits and pieces will get your attention because you know the outcome. Overall, I would say I enjoyed this film.
