My thoughts
I was influenced; I saw quite a lot of people talk about this product, and I wanted to give it a go because of that. As I said, I enjoy a healthy glow. I’ve never been very keen on the all-matt look, especially high coverage, as I always felt it didn’t make me look my best. Then again, as a teenager, I had lovely skin.

Having said that, though, there is a difference between a healthy glow and whatever happens when I put this on. It’s a lot, I must say. It takes a while to sink into my skin, and it’s quite shiny; even my parents, who usually don’t see or comment on such things, told me so. Yet, when it’s all absorbed, if you will, it is lovely. It makes your skin hydrated, and it looks fresh. It’s especially nice if you feel your skin needs a little bit more moisture.

The scent is very particular; it smells like herbs. It reminds me a bit (and I am sure this is the purpose) of creams you saw in old adverts. Back in the olden days, when they started making beauty products (harmful as most makeup was). If I think of creme, I think of this scent. Maybe that is why it is so very beloved.

It’s quite thick, and I do use it royally, as if you use very little, you are just pulling at your skin to work it in, which is never good. As I said, it leaves a bit of a sheen, and it leaves the skin a bit tacky. I don’t mind this, but if you don’t love the feeling of a cream on your face, this might not be the best product. If you don’t like the shine, you can easily wear it at night. I love it. I don’t use it every day, but I do use it if my skin needs a little bit of extra love. Overall, I would say this is a great product.
