Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

Foundations are very different for each person. Some people want very high coverage others want light coverage. I honestly go in and out with coverage.

What does Bourjois say about their product?
Give your skin a radiance boost with Bourjois’ Healthy mix serum gel foundation made from vitamin-rich fruit therapy formula for an even complexion and an instant anti-fatigue result! It’s fresh and instant blending gel texture blends and glides onto the skin for an even, natural finish with no mask effect. Imperfections are erased, signs of fatigue are smoothest and the skin’s radiance is boosted for up to 16 hours.  Made from an instant anti-fatigue vitamin-rich fruit therapy formula with litchi, goji berries, and pomegranates. 97% of the people say the complexion is perfectly even, 89% of the people say the complexion is radiant, and 91% of the people say the product feels light on the skin. However, this product was scientifically tested on 10 panellists and the numbers come from 100 consumers after 4 weeks.

What did I think?
The packaging is very simple. It’s a see-through plastic bottle with a red cap. The writing is white-red. It also has fruit and flowers on the front of the bottle as well. It says that the product has a semi-mat finish and is light coverage. My foundation is in the colour 55 dark beige (Beige foncé)

The product has a sweet smell however it is not and sickly smell. I like the smell, it’s a lovely fragrance to me. I love sweet smells. It has a dewy finish to it and has very light coverage. It is buildable to an extent but it will never be high coverage. If that is what you are looking for, I wouldn’t recommend this. I don’t think it lasts 16 hours though. At the end of the night, it doesn’t look the same as it did in the morning and it’s not yet been 16 hours. But in all honesty to me, it doesn’t matter because I don’t wear my foundation 16 hours straight. I do like the way my face looks with this foundation on, even though it’s quite minimal coverage.
