SebaMed shower gel

Over the past weeks, I have noticed that my skin has been very irritated, which happens from time to time. My skin goes through periods where it is very sensitive. Therefore, I decided to try SebaMed on my mother’s recommendation as she thought it might help my skin…

What does SebaMed say about their product?
Medical skin care: the pH value of 5.5 stabilizes the skin’s protective layer and thus strengthens the skin’s resistance to harmful external influences
For everyday: the special combination of active ingredients with its mild formula is particularly kind to the skin even when showering daily
Refreshed & cared for the shower gel helps protect sensitive skin from drying out and has a refreshing and caring effect
Moisturizing: the active complex with skin-owning amino acids, lactic acid, and allantoin supplies the skin with moisture
Quality Made in Germany: our products are developed, tested and produced in Germany

The packaging
The product comes in regular shower gel packaging, I would love to have this shower gel with a little pump but alas we cannot have everything.

Ingredients
Aqua, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Glyceryl Laurate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Parfum, Lactic Acid, Niacinamide, Glycine, Magnesium Aspartate, Alanine, Lysine, Leucine, Allantoin, PEG-150 Distearate, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Ascorbyl Palmitate, CI 61570, Hexyl cinnamal, Linalool, Limonene.

What do I think
As my skin is sensitive, I decided to try this product to see how I got on with it. It is wonderful, my skin is less irritated and it does not itch where it normally does when it has been quite warm. The smell is nice and fresh but not overpowering. I think it is an absolutely lovely product. If you have very dry skin or other skin problems I think this product is a good one to try.

Do mind the price, it is fairly expensive, I got this bottle in Germany so it was much cheaper. Back home I look out for the 1+1 deals. In the end, I do feel it’s worth it for me. The product is sold online as well as in the drugstore.
