Twas the text before Christmas (2023)

Honestly, this film was so very sweet. You would not say it immediately, as it sounds a bit silly, but it was so wholesome.

The film in short
Addie and Nana develop a close friendship after an accidental text message. Addie goes to visit Nana, where she meets Nana’s son James. After years of spending holidays together, Addie and James start to view each other differently.

My Thoughts
As I said, this was very cute. It was funny, but I did not understand why Nana said everyone calls her that when she is James’ mother. So Addie is around the same age. This was strange to me.

I love Addie and Nana’s relationship and thought it was very sweet that Addie kept getting invited over for Christmas, as she would have been alone otherwise.

It definitely was a slow-burn romance, but I really enjoyed it. Especially because they both made decisions that would benefit themselves before trying to make it work.
