After the Credits

Haul out the Holly (2022)

When I saw this film on Netflix, I felt it would be quite fun, and there was even a sequel. And thus I had to watch it right away.

The film in short
Emily arrives home hoping to visit her parents, only to find that they are going on a trip of their own. While she stays at her house for the holidays, her HOA is determined to get Emily involved in the neighbourhood Christmas festivities.
I got this information here.

My Thoughts
This film was fun. I find Lacey Chabert such a joy to watch. Honestly, this movie is the type of movie people think of when we chat about Hallmark films. I thought it was fun and enjoyable. I am not familiar with the HOA and can see it being strange and annoying, but I did think it was cute in the film.

I did have a hard time with her parents seemingly leaving for the whole holiday season. But I did think it worked out for the better in the end of the film.

This is a very sweet, very traditional Hallmark movie, and I would not want it any other way.
