Catrice Lip Jam Hydrating Lip Gloss 060 Honey, I’m home

When I was a young girl the very shiny and almost tacky lipglosses were very popular. When I grew up and started wearing lipgloss I never found a product quit like those until now. I mean even the packaging is reminiscent of the make-up of the early 2000s and that is a trend I personally love to have back.

What does Catrice say about their product?
The hydrating lipgloss is easy to apply and nourishes the lips. Thanks to its rich ingredients, the lips are supplied with plenty of moisture. The texture is non-sticky and provides a shiny finish with a light colour-dispersion. Another plus: The practical tube packaging is sure to fit into any handbag for quick touch-ups on the go at any time.
Improvement of the moisture content of the lips has been proven by an external study.
– Moisturizing lipgloss
– With shea butter, coconut oil & mango butter
– Light colour-dispersion

They also add that it is part of their clean beauty, the lipgloss does not have added microplastic, it’s vegan and cruelty-free according to European law it also does not contain parabenes or gluten. Read more here.

What do I think
As I said before the lipgloss is quite tacky and has a thicker consistency than I would necessarily expect. The smell of artificial Honey is quite prominent, it can be a bit much. But I must say it does not linger for ages. To me, it’s not offputting at all. I quite like the smell but if you don’t it is better to choose another gloss of this line I think.

There is no colour to the product but I love using it with a lip liner to give my lips a look the colour of a lipstick with the glossiness of the lipgloss. This lipgloss retails for 3.79 euros.
